Emotions are a category of feelings which generally are not differentiated from conceptualisation and most often supported by it, resulting in repression of the pure feeling base.
The emotion, being the protection of vulnerable self-reference, is an important door to the underlying structure from which it is born. Taking back the focus from the object, entirely paying attention to the subject, unifying with the experience of the emotional feeling, the root of the emotion, the problematic structure can exhaust itself, and take one through a deathprocess of the vulnerable identification of oneself. In this way the emotion, which in itself has a certain energy force, instead of being a destructive agent, it can be freed, giving space for creative, constructive and transformational ends.
From being a destructive agent, the emotion may be released, giving space for creative, constructive and transformational ends. The emotions being mixed up with conceptualisation, results in repression of the pure feeling base. The emotions being the protection of weak identification are a door to the underlying structures from which they are born. Dealing directly with the feeling base, its possible to realize the interrelated connection between the momentary self-feeling and the experience of the object, reality. This realization, being the basis for self-development – personal and spiritual – gives at the same time access to the ability of utilizing the emotions in order to exhaust the underlying problematic structures themselves.
